Het voormalig onderduikerskamp met nagebouwde hutten en gedenksteen kunt u vinden aan de, voor auto's doodlopende, Pas-Opweg. Met de auto is het Verscholen Dorp alleen bereikbaar via het dorp Vierhouten.
In Vierhouten staat de route naar de locatie met bordjes aangegeven.
Bij het Verscholen Dorp is een ruime parkeerplaats aanwezig.
Vanuit het dorp gaat u de Tongerenseweg in, onderweg passeert u het monument wat de omgeving markeert waar 8 Joden uit het onderduikerskamp zijn gefusilleerd.
Voor groepen, zoals bijvoorbeeld studenten, verenigingen en reisgezelschappen, worden rondleidingen op aanvraag gegeven.
Omdat dit wordt gedaan door vrijwilligers, en er een ruime belangstelling voor is, verzoeken wij u om hiervoor tijdig een afspraak te maken via rondleidingen@verscholendorpvierhouten.nl
We verwachten hiervoor een financiële bijdrage, die geheel ten goede komt aan de stichting.

In the patients who underwent lung resection, there was no significant correlation between change in the lower esophageal sphincter pressure from the preoperative period to the postoperative period and change in preoperative arterial oxygen saturation. Furthermore, there was no correlation between the time of peak pressure of the lower esophageal sphincter and change in arterial oxygen saturation in the patients who underwent lung resection. Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) has been regarded as one of the effective therapeutic methods for patients with esophageal cancer. The aim of this study was to evaluate the dosimetric effects of IMRT and compare them with those of three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT). Dosimetric comparisons among the IMRT, 3D-CRT, and 3-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT) for patients with esophageal cancer were assessed. 30 patients were used in this study. 10 patients were treated by IMRT and 20 patients by 3D-CRT. IMRT plans could cover the target volume with sufficient dose and spare the organs at risk without increasing the radiation exposure to the body. The 3D-CRT plans met the dose constraints, but failed to spare organs at risk for many patients with esophageal cancer. The dose distribution of 3D-CRT plans is far worse than that of IMRT plans. Comparing with 3D-CRT, IMRT is superior to 3D-CRT in dosimetry.
